Rules

As in every sport, you want to have fun and enjoy yourself, but much like football, cricket etc there are rules, well Airsoft is no different, infact the rules make the sport much more fun! Below is the Rules that must b followed, treat them like law's and you'll do fine!

  • FPS (Feet Per Second) Limits

  • Gas / Spring / Electric Pistols upto 300fps

  • SMG's / AEG's upto 350fps (should be 328fps +10%)

  • DMR (Designated Marksman Rifles "Semi-Auto Only") upto 450fps*

  • Gas / Spring Sniper Rifles upto 500fps**

MARSHALLS or STAFF may chronograph your weapon at anytime, if found over the limit you will not be able to use that weapon on site. If in doubt speak to a member of STAFF or MARSHALL before hand.

  • PROTECTION

Because we the same facility as Delta Force Paintball, by insurrance policy FULL FACE MASKS must be worn, this is for many reasons, apart from the airsoft safety which states eye protection at a minimum, Paintball guns have a higher FPS than airsoft gun, the last thing you want is a paintball coming over from a different game zone and hitting you in the eye (the likelyness of this happening is a 1% chance HOWEVER its still a percentage that we are not willing to risk)

MASK's must be put on BEFORE LEAVING the safe zone, on the way back to the safe zone, DO NOT TAKE your mask off until you have FULLY ENTERED the safe zone

During any game you must NOT TAKE your mask off! If caught you will be sent back to the safe zone (we know face mask's can be a right pain, what with foggin up and restricting the air flow after a half decent run. We as any mask issue's return to the safe zone to fix the problem)

When in the safe zone NO firing is permited (dry firing is ok, but you must leave the safe zone with your MASK on and goto the test range to ensure the chamber and barrel are completely empty), when in the safe zone, you will be preparing yourself for the next match, loading up magazines etc ... however at this point you DO NOT put a magazine/shell in any weapon until you have left the safe zone.

When entering the safe zone from a skirmish, you must unload your magazine/shell and dry fire, this ensures the barrel and chambers are empty.

  • DISTANCES AND SHOOTING TECHNIC

When in a game, there is nothing worse than sneaking up on someone and BAM full auto burst ... it can be quite painful and a shock to the system ... this is why we have DISTANCE rules or Rules of Engagement.

  • Any Game Zone Below 10 Metres Single Shot (semi auto) only, knife kills are permitted (must be a rubber or plastic knife, no real knifes are permitted on site!)

  • Room Clearence / CQB Village The rules are complex for this area of the site. Buildings are quite close together and have lots of windows, we prefare single shot (semi auto) only however we have came up with a solution that makes the game more fun. This is when the 20 metre rule will be applied, anything within 20 metres is semi auto only! Anything over full auto may be used in short controlled bursts.

  • Blind Firing This is probably the MOST IMPORTANT RULE of any airsoft site in the country.. We all see the movies, Bruce Willis jumps behind a wall, puts the gun over his head and shoots over the wall n kills 10 terrorists, its awesome eh? If only that was how it works though! Doing tha in airsoft is not only dangerous but very irresponsible! Bling firing is NOT PERMITED ... you must have full view of the target your aiming at before taking a shot!

  • Head Shots This is a tricky subject in airsoft ... Head shots are permitted however we do discourage it ... as are Groin shots ... again permitted but not very nice if on the receivcing end this is where sportsmanship kicks in.. we ask for leg, arm or chest shots, to avoid the nastys!

  • Pray 'n Spray Funny term we know, sounds like sumit out of Call of Duty, however it does happen and you have to remember your not arnold schwarzenegger holding a mini gun! Constantly holding down the trigger should only be for the support gunner's (m249's, m60's mg36's etc) so we ask when in full auto mode, short controlled bursts.

  • GETTING SHOT / TAKING SHOTS

When shot by a real rifle you'll know if your hit, there will ethier be hell of alot of blood or you'll be dead in paintball you'll know your shot.. you'll have paint all over you, however in airsoft bb's dont leave marks this is why the honor system was invented. Airsoft is not just about shooting your opponent and getting some hard earned kills. Its about senses and skills too, your reflexes will improve over time the more you play and your hearing will become more sensitive. Listening for your bb's hitting you is the first step and if hit... die with honor! The minute you are hit (standing, crouching or in prone) simply shout HIT! Stand up and put your gun in the air, this way other players know you are hit and won't engage you as a threat. Failure to do this will result in you probably getting shot hell of a lot more and to be honest you dont want that!

  • Taking a Shot When hit clearly shout HIT! (if in prone or crouching stand up) Be fully straight standing on the spot where shot and raise your weapon in the air.

  • Bleed Out Some games run a "Bleed Out" system, this is usually a counter.. example would be a bleed out of 15 seconds... once hit you would stand there for 15 seconds if no Medic (if the game being played has medics) has seen to you, you will return to the respawn location showin at the begining of the game.

  • Ricochet / Weapon Hits Ricochet's (bb hitting a item i.e a tree before hitting you) DO NOT count as a hit, however if your weapon is hit you must clearly shout "WEAPON HIT!" you must drop this weapon and use a side arm or backup weapon.

  • Communication We can not stress this enough ... DEAD MEN DONT TALK! This means DO NOT TALK if hit to any player's still in combat!

  • Friendly-Fire This counts as a "HIT!"

  • Senses Please listen out for hits, not all hits you'll feel, especially wearing big tac vests and webbing etc ... remember its a game of skill and if someone has hit you take the shot!

If you feel someone isn't taking there hits please speak to a MARSHALL, do not start shouting cheat etc, this is actually on the same level as not taking the hit.

  • CHEATING

Cheating like anywhere in the world, xbox, ps3 or any sport is simply not permitted, we have in place a punishment system for people who decide to cheat.

  • Common Punishment System Players will have a verbal warning ... if this happens again it will be a second warning ... if it happens again after two verbal warnings the player will be removed from play and back to the safe zone. When the player returns and it happens again, they will be asked to leave the site.

Below are a list of common factors that will get you a warning

  • Not Taking Hits
  • Full Auto Below the 10 Metre Mark
  • Abusive / Offensive Behaviour / Language
  • Disrespect to any STAFF / MARSHALL or PLAYER
  • Leaving Allocated Playing Zone

PYROTECHNICS AND PROJECTILES

Only approved pyro may be used on site, such as TLSFX or Enola Gay, we recommend EG pyro which can be bought from the Delta Force shop, you may bring your own but it will be inspected by our trained pyro staff.

  • Limitations of Pyro*** No Higher than a Mark 5 may be used on site (this include maroons). MARSHALLS have the permission to use upto Mark 15 for special events such as bombs exploding etc

  • Projectiles Only 6mm or 8mm plastic ball bearings may be used on site (no metal or glass bb's, this will result in a instant ban and police again taken against you), the weights do not matter for ethier 6mm or 8mm as long as the power of the weapon is within the limits (remember heavyier bb's may go slower and be more accurate but they have more power on impact)
  • * Depending on being a regular at the site or trustworthy with your shooting ability way may allow a extra 10%

** Depending on airsoft experience and passing a shooting test way may allow a extra 10%

*** NO HOME MADE PYRO may be used on site, no exceptions

RULES MAY BE CHANGED AT ANY TIME
